Supply Chain Management Shared Services (SCMSS) supports provincial health system Service Delivery Organizations, enabling the efficient acquisition of products, equipment and services to achieve the best overall value considering cost, quality and outcomes.
The range of services include strategic sourcing, contracting, value analysis, procurement, and distribution/logistics services.
SCMSS works in collaboration with Service Delivery Organizations, communities and other key stakeholders, providing services that focus on:
- Supporting Manitoba’s health-care system in alignment with provincial health strategies and the clinical preventative services plan
- Providing efficient and timely supply of materials and services required for optimal performance of Service Delivery Organizations and supporting patient care with clinically acceptable and correct products available at the right time and in the right location
- Optimizing value through category management, value analysis, standardization, and innovative procurement.
