Lightning on ice

Cindy Klassen won five medals during the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, a Canadian record. Combined with her bronze medal win in 2002, Klassen has won a total of six Olympic medals, making her Canada's most decorated Olympian.

  • Gold: 1500 m
  • Silver: 1000 m Team Pursuit
  • Bronze: 5000 m , 3000 m

  • Bronze: 3000 m

2006 World Championships

  • Overall World Cup Title in the 3000 m

2003 World Championships

  • World Allround Speed Skating Champion
