RL

In 2011, the Region implemented the RL: Feedback module as a management system for feedback, including complaints and compliments. In 2013, the Region began implementation of the RL: Risk system, which reports and manages critical incidents and occurrences. This implementation is now complete and includes all facilities including community and personal care homes . The RL rollout to the Community Health Agencies is underway.

Data from RL: Risk is shared with appropriate regional committees to promote learning and improvement. The ultimate goal of the new system is to improve patient care and safety. It enables staff and leaders to engage in various types of reviews while still providing the necessary legal privilege required for critical incidents. RL: Risk also makes it possible to significantly streamline the critical incident review process.
