Fluoroscopic Spinal Intervention
Diagnostic treatment of spinal pain, utilizing percutaneous treatments involving fluoroscopic-guided radiofrequency rhizotomy, epidural steroid therapy and faucet and root blockade to highly selected patients is an active part of the spinal surgical groups treatment spectrum. The provision of diagnostic facet and root blockade is often helpful in localizing precise lesions for directed surgical therapy in simple and complex cases.
Extensive experience exists within the group utilizing IDET for spinal pain. This treatment modality remains investigational and may become available in the future.
