Tremors
For familial essential tremor, the ventral lateral thalamus is treated with 140 Gy max with a single 4mm shot. Parkinson's tremor is treated with 80% success rate, noting a one to two month latency period. Multiple sclerosis related tremor can also be treated. Avoid doing bilateral lesions because of the high incidence of dysarthria and cognitive complications.
