Regional Pharmacy Program

The Regional Pharmacy Program is responsible for the distribution of drugs and for the provision of other professional services that ensure the safe, therapeutically-effective, and cost-effective use of drugs within 9 WRHA facilities. We have over 300 staff and site management with shared responsibility for about $40 million of drugs.

Regional managers are responsible for drug procurement, education, information systems, drug information and utilization, drug distribution and professional practice across the Winnipeg region.

A regional program director and administrative director are responsible to regional senior management for the Pharmacy program.
