Grace Hospital Pharmacy Services

Pharmacists practice using an integrated clinical-distributive practice model, providing direct patient care to selected Medicine, Surgery, and Critical Care patients in this 281-bed community hospital. Drug consultation, patient counseling, and pharmacokinetic monitoring are offered.

Pharmacy technicians aid delivery of pharmaceutical care through support of the computerized (GE Centricity), unit-dose (Pyxis; AutoMed) drug distribution system. Pharmacy technicians also support a centralized IV admixture service (limited number of IV items), pharmacy purchasing, wardstock, and inventory control systems.

Grace General Hospital Pharmacy Services offer a warm, collegial, collaborative environment in which personal and professional growth is encouraged. The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday days and evenings, with shorter hours on weekends and holidays.
