Angela Schinkinger, Msc

Angela Schinkinger, MSc has been a genetic counsellor in the Program of Genetics and Metabolism at the Health Sciences Center since 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science with honours in Molecular Genetics from the University of Alberta in 2011 and a Masters of Genetic Counselling from the University of Manchester in 2013. In her current position, Angela works in adult metabolics and is an integral part of the Manitoba newborn screening program. She has a specialized interest in mitochondrial conditions and the multidisciplinary clinic model. She looks forward to being involved in the teaching and clinical supervision of medical residents, genetic counselling students and other medical trainees.
