Thomas Oliver, MD PGY-1

Dr. Oliver is a PGY-1 resident in the genetics residency program. He attended the University of Northern British Columbia majoring in Biology. The majority of his initial experience was in wildlife and forest biology with employment in silviculture and ecosystem restoration. Following graduation he moved to Vancouver to work with the Investigatory Drug Program and Advanced Therapeutics at the BC Cancer Research Centre. With that experience he enrolled in the Clinical Genetics Technology Program at BCIT and graduated in 2007. He was accepted to Trinity School of Medicine the following spring and completed the first 2 years of training in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. He completed the final 2 years of training in Chicago, Illinois between Mount Sinai Hospital and the Loyola hospitals.
