Pre-Arrhythmia Classes

The WCCNEP is offering an optional pre-arrhythmia classes for new applicants to the program.  The classes being offered are exactly the same as the arrhythmia classes given in the WCCNEP.  You must attend all 5 classes.  The rhythm test will be during the first week of Theory Classes.  If you are successful, your workload will be lightened and you will not have to attend the scheduled WCCNEP arrhythmia classes.  If you are not successful, you will be required to attend all the arrhythmia classes and it will be counted as one rewrite.

For the September 2012 session, classes are scheduled at St. Boniface Hospital in the Education Building on the following Wednesdays from 0830 to 1230 hours:

• August 1, 2012 (Room N1026)
• August 8, 2012 (Room N1026)
• August 15, 2012 (Room N1026)
• August 22, 2012 (Room N1026)
• August 29, 2012 (Room N1026)

You will need:

• Huff, Jane. (2011). ECG workout: Exercises in arrhythmia interpretation (6th ed.). Philadelphia: Lippincott.
• calipers
