My name is Lori Lamont and I’m Vice-President and Chief Nursing Officer for the Winnipeg Health Region.  It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the new nursing website.

It’s our hope and goal to make this a useful and helpful resource, a place where nurses can come to rely upon for the most up to date information. So much of the nursing profession involves information exchange . . . and we think you need to easily be able to link with important, relevant information that impacts you as a nurse in the Region.

Thank you to the nurses and student nurses who helped provide guidance for the first phase of development by telling us what they’d like to see in a revamped online resource.
