Pediatric Otolaryngologist

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) Surgery Program invite applications for a community based Pediatric Otolaryngologist or General Otolaryngologist with interest in Pediatrics, commencing as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be offered a part-time academic appointment which will include opportunities to teach in postgrad and undergrad programs, and participate in departmental CME activities.   The incumbent will have regular access to OR time at the Children’s Hospital.  The candidate will be required to provide outpatient care in a community-based clinic, as a private practitioner.  The Department can facilitate communication between the candidate and a number of private clinics in Winnipeg that can provide clinical space.   A half day/week clinic at the Children’s Hospital will be made available to any candidate deemed to have suitable clinical and educational aspirations.   

Qualifications:

Candidates must have specialty qualifications in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
