Population & Public Health

Nutrition Promotion

The goal of the Nutrition Promotion team is to improve the nutritional health of the population in the Winnipeg Health Region by partnering with others to influence conditions that support and encourage healthy food choices.

Nutrition professionals in the Population and Public Health Nutrition Program work in partnership to promote healthy eating wherever people live, work or play.  We use strategies to make the complex science of nutrition relevant and meaningful to people’s lives.
