Designed to prevent diseases (such as influenza ad serious childhood diseases) in the community through immunizations offered by public health nurses in public health offices, schools and personal care homes.

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority offers travel health services for travellers who want to stay healthy while travelling. We offer a full range of services and are a federally designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre.

Healthy Sexuality and Harm Reduction
The Healthy Sexuality and Harm Reduction Team works to prevent and control sexually transmitted and blood borne infections. The team works with people and populations with or at risk for these infections. The team provides services mandated by the public health act. It also provides voluntary services including Street Connections. Street Connections provides outreach, information, counselling, advocacy and referral. It also offers needle exchange, safer crack use kits, condoms and other supplies to reduce the harms from sexually transmitted and blood borne infections.
