Volunteer

Wanted: Mature, female volunteers who are committed to respecting personal health information. If you're able to commit to one 3 or 4 hour shift on a weekly basis or are interested in volunteering on a casual basis, we are interested in hearing from you.

What you'll do

As a volunteer at the Breast Health Centre, you will be responsible for:

• working alongside the Centre's staff to promote a friendly and caring environment
• greeting clients and escorting them to the examination room or diagnostic area
• providing information to the client about their appointment
• ensuring examination rooms are tidy after each visit
• checking supplies
• complete office duties such as filing, photocopying or restocking pamphlets

How it works

New volunteers are interviewed, screened and oriented. You will be asked to fill out an application form, reference checks and a pledge of confidentiality.
