Upcoming Education Sessions

The Before Surgery Education sessions and are held on the first and third Friday of every month and the After Surgery Education sessions on the second and fourth Friday of every month at the Breast Health Centre. Video available here.

The Before Surgery session does not provide information on breast reconstruction. There is a Breast Reconstruction Education Session offered at the CancerCare Manitoba Breast & Gyne Cancer Centre of Hope.  For more information, please call 204-788-8080 or toll-free 1-888-660-4866. Bone Health After Breast Cancer

An educational session for those who have had breast cancer and want to reduce their risk of developing osteoporosis.

Learn how to reduce your risk for developing osteoporosis following breast cancer. This free educational session explores how osteoporosis is diagnosed and treated, recommendations for calcium and vitamin D, choosing supplements wisely and exercises to promote bone health.
