Lymphedema Treatment

Certified lymphedema therapists teach clients at the information sessions about what arm exercises to do after surgery.  These exercises will help improve the movement of the arm.

Clients who develop lymphedema after breast cancer treatment need a physician's referral to see a certified Manual Lymph Drainage expert. These visits include decongestive therapy, exercises, skin care, compression bandaging and teaching the client how to look after lymphedema at home.
