Psychosocial Counselling

There's an emotional component to receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer. To help support clients and their families, the Breast Health Centre has a social worker, who offers counselling related to coping with breast cancer and other life stressors. Along with providing information and referrals, the social worker can also provide information on how to access peer support, support groups, transportation and financial supports.
