Golden West Centennial Lodge - A Sense of Self & Home

Become a Volunteer

Golden West Centennial Lodge relies on many talented and generous volunteers every year.

Volunteers provide support in a variety of activities and programs and assist residents and staff at the Lodge. We welcome volunteers to participate in whichever area they feel most comfortable.

Our volunteers are individuals – teens, adults and seniors, as well as groups and organizations; and all have personal reasons for volunteering. Volunteering allows them to build resumes, learn new skills, keep busy, discover new strengths and talents, share special skills and have fun!

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Recreation (Large and small group programs)
  • Gift Shop Attendant
  • Chapel Assistance/ Pastoral Care visitors
  • Friendly Visitors
  • Gardening
  • Individually Tailored Opportunities

How Do I Volunteer?

Consider whether you have time each week to commit to volunteering. Think about your interests, skills and career plans. At Golden West we are looking for dedicated individuals who want to help others, are positive, caring and sensitive to the needs of others and willing to commit to their role. Volunteers should be motivated, energetic and customer service orientated.
