First Nations, Métis, Inuit Health Human Resource Committee

The FNMIHHR Committee of the Board of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) consists of WRHA Board members and community members. The FNMIHHR Committee provides an on-going opportunity for community members to share their thoughts about and provide suggestions to address important issues that impact the health of First Nations, Métis and Inuit people in Winnipeg. Between September and June, members of the Committee meet to explore various topics chosen by the WRHA Board, with input from members of the Committee. Discussion from the meetings is reported to the Board and members of WRHA senior management.

Membership of the FNMIHHR Committee

The FNMIHHR Committee is made up of community members and WRHA Board members. Non-voting members include WRHA staff persons, who are able to provide information and answer questions about health and social services that are delivered in the community. Committee members are chosen to reflect the community they represent.
